Common Problems To Marketing Success: Part 3 - Invisible Constraints

Innovation has always been a key to business success and wealth creation. In the past innovation was primarily linked to new inventions like Walkmans, I Pods, digital cameras, and yes, even pet rocks. Today in the business arena innovation has shifted to a global concept of ad campaigns and marketing strategies. Every day new and innovative strategies are created but most marketers in the workplace will never see or use them. A major marketing problem in the 21st century is “Invisible Constraints.” They can be as small as business meetings that start first thing on a Monday morning, to huge emotional barriers that prevent people from taking small steps to financial success. These less transparent problems are major causes of individuals, departments and even entire businesses suffering marketing failure.Being around a circus or zoo and seeing a huge elephant tied down to a very small stake is mystifying and almost impossible to believe that anyone could be so stupid as to leave a giant beast so insecurily staked out.
